Ancestral Healing Rituals
Native people around the world has always look for the help of a healer instead of a doctor. Healers all have a long history of using indigenous, or native, plants, ceremonies, rituals for a wide variety of medicinal purposes. Medicinal plants and their applications are as diverse as the tribes who use them.
I do not consider myself as a healer, curandera, medicine woman, etc. I AM a servant or instrument of the Great Spirit to help others to manifest healing in their life.
I come from Bolivia, a country composed by 36 native nations, with 37 languages where 62% of the population is indigenous. I grow up in a country rich in ancestral culture and immerse on native healing. I do have direct lineage in my blood regarding this type of healing. My grandfather's family was composed by curanderas, and on my mom' side, my grandfather was a plant healer.
The medical practices of shamans and curanderos vary significantly by region, but there are a few common themes in their approach to treating illness. I do offer to the community, the gift of my ancestors and the native wisdom applied to healing coming from Aymara, Quechua and Guarani cultures.
